Joint Plus Gel is a product that is uniquely developed to be massaged into sore joints and used alongside the Paingone pen. The non-greasy formula is absorbed easily into the skin, so you aren’t left with an unwanted residue that might rub off on clothing. With the active ingredients glucosamine, eucalyptus and rosemary, it is a natural soothing formula that can also be used on aching or sore muscles.
Glucosamine*
Joint Plus is a glucosamine-rich gel. Glucosamine is a vital component of joint tissue, allowing the creation of various key macromolecules to take place, including glycolipids, glycosaminoglycans, and glycoproteins. These macromolecules are found in cartilage, tendons, muscles, ligaments, and synovial fluid. So it goes without saying that they are very important, and consequently so is glucosamine. Sufficient levels of glucosamine are needed for stimulating healthy joint action and also improve the joints of those with arthritis.
While glucosamine is a substance that the body produces naturally, there aren’t any foods that are rich in it.
This gel can be used in conjunction with other pain treatments such as our Paingone pen and Paingone Easy which help to increase their pain-relieving effects.
*You should not use Glucosamine-rich products if you are on prescription blood-thinning drugs such as Warfarin or if you have a shellfish allergy.
Eucalyptus and Rosemary
Eucalyptus oil is derived from the eucalyptus tree, which is native to Australia. It has a long history of being used for pharmaceutical purposes. One common use is as a decongestant for colds and viruses. However, its soothing and cooling properties mean it has long been used for massage. It is also thought to have anti-inflammatory capabilities. This means it is the perfect companion to glucosamine in the Joint Plus gel, helping to naturally soothe and cool any contracted or tense muscles and joints you may have.
Rosemary has a long history of use in folk medicine. The Ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans believed that rosemary was a sacred herb that held medicinal properties. It also has a nice soothing fragrance that perfectly compliments the other natural ingredients used in this product.
These ingredients have been blended together in a unique formula to help treat and alleviate a variety of aches and pains in a gentle and natural way.
