Shampoo for Thinning Hair UK

Shampoos and hair loss treatments such as Alpecin and Regain contain clinically proven ingredients such as Minoxidil and Caffeine that are able to boost hair thickness and slow hair loss, by trying these products over a good amount of time you can judge which has the best outcome for your particular hair problem.

If your hair has damage due to build-up from product, hard water deposits and minerals, then regular washing with a specialist shampoo can help. The frequency with which you use a shampoo to remove build-up depends on how hard the water is that comes from your shower, the number of styling products you use and how your hair is looking.

The combination in SuperMedo Hair Shampoo, Tonic and Supplement provides not only the cleansing power of a highly effective shampoo but also a tonic to improve scalp health and a supplement packed with ingredients that can improve thinning hair, this product is also completely natural for those of us who want to avoid further harsh chemicals.

Avoid shampoos or conditioners that contain sodium laureth or laureth sulfates, these ingredients can strip your hair of its natural protective oils and damage the skin of your scalp. If you find your face and neck are red or blotchy after shampooing and your scalp is sore or itchy, then it’s probably that you are reacting to sodium laureth or laureth sulfates.

Avoid using shampoo more than twice a week if possible. Shampooing too frequently can strip damaged hair and create brittleness. If your hair needs a pick-me-up, use a dry shampoo in between washings.

Nit Shampoo UK

Head lice are tiny insects that live on the human head, laying eggs and feeding on blood from the scalp. They can, therefore, cause the head to become very itchy and uncomfortable. You can tell if you have head lice because you will be able to see them crawling around the scalp. You can also see the eggs. You may have heard the term “nits”: this is actually the name of head louse eggs that are now empty. To get rid of head lice, using nit shampoo and a comb is a crucial step.

Head lice are tiny insects that live on the human head, laying eggs and feeding on blood from the scalp. They are itchy and uncomfortable and need to be removed using nit shampoo and a comb. Our range of head lice treatments help to remove the nits from your head and ease the pain.

How to get rid of head lice

You can remove head lice by combing them out carefully and diligently with a special fine-toothed comb. Specialised head lice combs are designed to effectively remove head lice and nits, as well as detangling hair. After combing the hair through, use a nit shampoo to wash the hair.

How to use the Nit Shampoo*

First, use the head lice comb as detailed above on dry hair to remove head lice and nits easily. Then apply the nit shampoo onto dry hair, ensuring it is well worked in all over the scalp and ends of the hair. Leave the nit shampoo in the hair for 15 minutes, or as advised on the bottle, and then once again comb through the hair with a head lice comb to remove lice and nits. After, rinse the hair thoroughly to ensure all of the nit shampoo has been removed.

*Please note this is just guidance, refer to the instructions on each product for a more detailed and accurate description of how to use that particular nit shampoo.
