Acnecide Face Wash 5% Benzoyl Peroxide 50g
If you’ve ever suffered from an acne breakout, you know how much it can affect your self-esteem. There is plenty of Acne treatment available to help, including washes and gels from the Acnecide range. This is their dedicated face wash.
Acnecide wash contains 5% benzoyl peroxide and is ideal for covering large spot affected areas such as your back, chest or face. For more concentrated areas such as areas of your face, it may be worth considering something like Acnecide Gel which is perfect for covering smaller areas.
Before using Acnecide Wash 50g
Ensure that you have read and understood the instructions for how to use Acnecide wash. If you require further information, then do consult your pharmacist. The Tower Health team is always happy to help.
How to use Acnecide Wash 50g
Acnecide wash can be used like you would any other wash. Wet the area you wish to treat, apply a small amount of the wash gel to your hands, rub into a lather and wash the affected area. Ensure that you rinse thoroughly after. Contact time with your skin should be 1-2 minutes.
If you have a particularly bad case of acne, it may be worth adding another acnecide product into your skincare routine. Follow these simple steps for clearer skin:
Step 1- Cleanse
Wash your face with your Acnecide face wash. This helps to cleanse the skin and get rid of excess oils and bacteria that is known to cause spots.
Step 2 - Treat
Consider a product such as Acnecide Gel 60g that can then be used to precision treat areas of the skin.
Step 3 - Moisturise
While Acnecide should keep your skin hydrated, everybody’s skin is different. Moisturising the skin after washing with a product such as Acnecide Daily Moisturiser helps to prevent the skin from drying out and becoming irritable. Make sure that you use a moisturiser that works for your skin and doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy.
How long does it take Acnecide wash to work?
As with any acne treatment, patience is key and keeping your skin clean over time and free from Propionibacterium acnes and other bacteria which can cause acne will help to clear you skin.
